I started a different entry for today, about a cool lecture I attended, but it turned out spectacularly dull, in part because I have a sort of early-onset exhaustion in anticipation of getting up at 5 a.m. tomorrow. We have a work event. And! I forgot my laptop charger at work and have to go back to the office before I go to the meeting location.
So. Instead, here is an NPR Tiny Desk Concert with Horse Feathers. We missed them the last time they were in Tucson, but they’re supposedly playing Solar Culture in May, just before we vanish for vacation, and we will be there. Very exciting. S, I believe, prefers their first albums just slightly to their second. I haven’t listened to the first as much. “Albina” and “Helen” are perhaps my favorites off House with No Home.
